So I just realized how insanely safe Lothlorien is
Like it felt eerie in the movie, like it really was rather dangerous, but think about it.
It's ruled by GALADRIEL. If you're friends with her, not even Sauron himself can touch you, dangit.
Why do they bother having guards at all if their queen is so amazingly powerful?
If they had used her to distract Sauron while Frodo flew into Mordor on the Lord of the Eagles, everything would have gone so smoothly. Sauron would be half defeated before the Ring even made it into the flames.
